Our latest project is agriculture wherein students are taught farming.

Seed and compost were donated to start this project. Water restrictions were implemented in September 2016. As a result watering the vegetables became a challenge. We were then very fortunate as watering cans were donated. By looking at the gallery, one can see this has been a huge success.

We also make use of tunnels to grow vegetables. This greatly assists with the harsh weather conditions.

At Phuthanang we try to give at least one wholesome meal per day. This project benefits the school by giving them fresh nutritious food. Not only are we able to provide fresh food for the learners, but also sell the surplus to our community.
